If you're reading this to find out about us, please be an ally. When you have, say, co-workers on the spectrum, observe the way they are treated by peers and superiors, listen to their stories, stand up for principle when the organization or people in it, whether directly or indirectly (through hurtful policies and behavior), deal a blow to the ASD person. Also, know that there are in your midst people with atypical neuro-biology who take great pains to disguise it in order to pass every day. Look out for damaging practices and behaviors, even when you can't imagine anyone around you being ASD. If you do everyone will benefit. TIA.
